Family Ministry
The Family Ministry is proud to host Night4All weekly on Tuesday evenings, and event based activities throughout the year such as: Family Counseling, Marriage Conferences (February 6-7th 2026), Date Night, Family Element (June), Desert Trips (January), Bike Rides, Fishing Trips, Family BBQ, & Harvest Festival (October).
Night4All: Tuesday Evenings
Riverview has something for everyone on Tuesday nights, making it a great option for the whole family! We have: an Adult Study in the main worship center, AWANA for the kids, Junior High, and High School ministries all in the same night! Pastor Ben and Pastor Adam share special series from the Word of God, along with worship with Scott Harrah, and a potluck dinner.
Starting this Tuesday, March 10th, from 6:00-8:00pm, Pastor Ben will begin the new Adult Bible Study "The Kingdom of God", exploring the Beatitudes from Jesus’ opening words in the Sermon on the Mount that describe the character, posture, and priorities of those who belong to Him.
Date Night
Our last Date Night was Luau Themed and we enjoyed a delicious Hawaiian BBQ dinner, fun games, and fellowship. Keep an eye out for our next one!
Harvest Festival
Our annual Harvest Festival is in October from 3:00-6:00pm! Bring your family and friends for an a-maize-ing day of fall fun and community with live music, tasty food, exciting games, a dunk tank, and even a petting zoo! Admission is cash only, $5 per child (max $20 per family), and children of Military and First Responders are free! Keep an eye out for next years!
Family Element
Family Element (typically in June) is three days packed with biblical teaching, games, music, crafts, and plenty more for the whole family to enjoy!
Family BBQ
Our annual business meeting and family bbq is (typically in June) after second service, with hot dogs and hamburgers on the patio.
Fishing Trips
Sign-ups are FULL for the Annual Bishop Family Fishing Trip taking place July 24th-26th. Visit the Men's Gazebo on the patio on Sundays to be put on the wait list.
Bike Rides
Keep an eye out for our next Family Bike Ride.
Desert Trips
Our annual Family Desert Trip is typically in January at Ocotillo Wells!
Family Counseling
If you'd like to schedule an adult situational or marriage counseling appointment, we recommend meeting with: Pastor Mel or Pastor Ben.
For a high school (grades 9-12) student or young adult (18-25 years of age), we recommended meeting with Pastor Hopena.
For a junior high (grades 6-8) student, we recommend meeting with Pastor Caden.
If you'd like to schedule a counseling appointment with a woman, we recommend meeting with Brenda Jason or Jeanette Kranz .
