Miracles of Easter!
At the heart of this Easter message lies an invitation to encounter the miraculous power of God's love through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We're reminded that if we can accept that God created two trillion galaxies, then every miracle in Scripture becomes believable. The sermon walks us through three powerful Easter miracles centered not on earthquakes or rolled-away stones, but on transformed lives. First, there's the thief on the cross whose simple act of faith in his final moments changed his eternal destiny, showing us that salvation requires only a mustard seed of faith, not perfect understanding. Second, we meet the Roman centurion who oversaw Christ's execution yet proclaimed 'Truly this man was the Son of God,' demonstrating that no one is beyond the reach of God's forgiveness. Finally, we encounter Thomas, the doubting disciple who needed to see and touch the risen Christ. Rather than condemning Thomas, Jesus graciously met him in his doubt and invited him to investigate the evidence. This message powerfully declares that God knows our struggles, welcomes our questions, and invites us to examine the evidence of the resurrection. The empty tomb, the 500 eyewitnesses, the transformed disciples willing to die for what they knew was true, all point to one undeniable reality: Jesus conquered death, and through faith in Him, we receive the free gift of eternal life.
