Other Ministries

The Grand Parenting Ministry provides inspiration, ideas and tools to help you realize your potential to grandparent in a meaningful way. For more information, contact Steven Zen.

Six to eight times a year, the Hometown Heroes Ministry delivers baskets filled with homemade treats to local law enforcement firefighters and emergency medical workers to show appreciation for the selfless dedication they provided to keep our community safe. If you're interested in participating, contact Cindy Stromsoe.

The Life After 55 Ministry is for those 55 and older that want to fellowship through luncheons, events, and outings. Please visit the Event Kiosk on Sunday to see the upcoming events, or call the church office.

The Loft House Ministry involves funding, building, and delivering loft houses for needy families in Ensenada, Mexico. We have delivered 90 houses and counting. Along with each house, we also donate food, stoves, window coverings, carpeting, propane tanks, blankets, and many other needed items. The house is pre-fabricated by volunteers in our back parking lot. A team then travels to Ensenada to erect, paint, and finish the project with the local pastor, formal dedication, and presentation of the keys to the new home.

Mexico Ministries sends a team (made up of youth and families 12 and up) on a week-long mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico each year. Our purpose is to bond with the people of the Mexican partner churches, and witness to the community through evangelistic programs and services. *This year's trip will be from July 27th - August 2nd! The Missions ministry exists to coordinate the commitment Riverview has made to prayerfully, emotionally, and financially support missionaries who serve in local and global efforts to reach people for Jesus Christ. Riverview supports over twenty missionaries in the U.S. and in other countries, and hosts an annual Missions Conference, which is coordinated by our Missions Team.

This ministry serves by bringing renewed hope and faith in Jesus Christ, and helps individuals who are bereft by the death of a spouse, abandoned, or left alone, to see God's plan and purpose for this season in their lives. The ministry hosts fellowship events such as luncheons, attending plays and live music performances, and strolls. If you're interested in joining, contact Allison Larson or Dee McReynolds.

This ministry reaches out to those who are unable to attend Sunday services due to illness or health issues. This team visits these folks and spends some time sharing from the word, praying, and partaking in communion together. If you know of someone who might benefit from this ministry or you are interested in getting involved, let us know! Contact Courtney Bankson or Deena Rahmeyer.
