Refuge 12 Step

Biblical Counseling Ministry

We provide Biblical Counseling where our biblical counselors use the Bible and its principles to help individuals by counseling and addressing personal struggles.

2 Timothy 3:16-17  "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

If you'd like to schedule an adult situational or marriage counseling appointment, we recommend meeting with: Pastor Mel or Pastor Ben.
For counseling for a junior high (grades 6-8) student, we recommend meeting with Pastor Caden.
To schedule a counseling appointment for a high school (grades 9-12) student or young adult (18-25 years of age), we recommended meeting with Pastor Hopena.

Monday Nights @ 7:00 pm

Refuge 12 Step focuses on biblical principles that outline a course of action for tackling problems, such as addictions, dependencies, and other struggles. This recovery ministry uses The Twelve Steps, a set of biblical principles that outline a course of action for tackling problems such as drug and alcohol addiction, overeating, sex addiction, and more. As we work through the Twelve Steps, we find the path God has chosen and revealed in the Scriptures for the rescue and transformation of broken lives. We find hope and strength through walking with others, entrusting our lives to God, and   allowing Him to direct our decisions and plans.

Additional Studies and Counseling Ministries

In addition to the listed groups above, we also host How People Change Study, Annual Conferences and more. Check back for more details and sign ups for future events.

Thursday Nights @ 6:00pm

Ladies 12 Step is similar to Monday night Refuge 12 Step but is exclusively for women. This group meets weekly on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. For more information contact Sabina Nims.

Sundays @ 12:30pm-2:30pm

Grief Share is a 13 week grief support class on Sundays after second service from 12:30-2:30pm. You’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief.  Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability and gain solid support each step of the way. If you're interested in joining or have any questions, contact Christi Brotherton.
