Biblical Victory Plan Pt.4
This message challenges us to examine how we respond when our faith intersects with the cultural battles of our day. Drawing from 1 Peter 5:8-11, we're reminded that Satan prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to devour lives through deception and lies. The call to be sober-minded and watchful isn't about living in fear, but about living with eyes wide open to the spiritual realities around us. We discover that two powerful words have been weaponized to silence believers: judgmental and political. Yet when we examine Scripture, we find that Jesus himself confronted false teaching with bold truth, calling out the scribes and Pharisees as hypocrites and whitewashed tombs. The disciples in Acts 5 declared they must obey God rather than man, even when threatened by political authorities. This isn't about being harsh or unloving; it's about loving people enough to speak truth into their lives. We're called to use discerning judgment, distinguishing between condemning judgment which the Bible forbids and the biblical discernment that protects truth and guides others toward life. The challenge before us is to become biblical values voters who evaluate every issue through the lens of God's Word, standing for righteousness even when culture tells us to be silent.
